I think it's time for another meeting!. May be sometime in January. Anyone interested in presenting Flex related topics? Also we need volunteers to host the meeting.

Trying to get space for Jan 27th. We have a couple of topics by Reggie and Matt. Will post the details very soon.

Yeah, and everybody bring your laptops! We'll do it guerilla style, everybody leaves with a working rsl example building via ANT ;) if we're ambitious... maybe we'll throw in a few ASDocs as well.

I'll give a couple quick preso's on (1) modules/rsls and (2) ANT. Of course, if someone else want's to do one or the other, I'll share...I don't want to hog all the good topics :) I think another presentation I could give sometime (albeit more in-depth) is with java integration via BlazeDS and remoting. But we can put that on the back burner for a future meeting.

Thanks Matt. I like your idea of short presentations/workshops. I'll schedule something for late January.

Hari,

I can present on client-side RESTand present my new chat site if it's late in the month. However, we might try another meeting format: short presentations/workshops, with everyone banging away at their laptops.

Here's some things I could do: Item renders tips and tricks, Binding in Mediators, Internationalization, drap and drop.

Here's some things I'd really like to know about: modules and rsls, embedding (SWFObject v. Adobe), SOAP, themes, Binding best practices (how to not overuse), using the performance and memory profiler, ANT, skinning, etc.
